DieselShip is back again and it just got better with a fresh new look and feel. With the new blogging system we give you your personal space to blog your way around the world now.
Most of the code is rewritten now with many bugs squashed. We were working on complete Facebook integration of the website allowing our users to log into the site with their Facebook accounts enabling them to receive updates from DieselShip to their Facebook wall and inbox. We were almost there but since our last of the coders ashore was called back to sea, we are putting this feature release on hold. For now, users may only recommend and share the articles published here with other Facebook users.
We have also improved articles commenting system and a discussion bot has been added that enables you to hold forum discussions directly by making a quick reply to articles.
This is probably one of the rarest sites created, managed and run only by mariners. Everything that you see here is created by a mariner just like you. We, as mariners, have always felt an urgent need to give our isolated and often forgotten community a voice over the internet. DiselShip was born only to meet this goal.
